Two Day Sensitization Workshop on Academic Management System organised at VNMKV, Parbhani

ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi and NAHEP-CAAST, VNMKV, Parbhani jointly organized a two day Sensitization Workshop on Academic Management System at VNMKV, Parbhani during 28^th Feb to 1^st March, 2023. The workshop was inaugurated on 28^th February under the chairmanship of Dr. Indra Mani, Vice-Chancellor, VNMKV, Parbhani. Dr. Prashantkumar Patil, Vice-Chancellor, MPKV, Rahuri, Dr. Sudeep, PI, NAHEP Component-2 & Head (CA), ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi, Dr. R.C.Goyal, IT Consultant, and Dr. D.N.Gokhale, Director of Instruction, VNMKV, Parbhani graced the function through hybrid mode.  

In his inaugural address, Hon'ble VC Dr. Indra Mani stated that the online Academic Management System (AMS) will streamline the university's academic work and automate various academic activities. This will increase efficiency and transparency in university education system and save time and effort. It will be extremely beneficial in implementing the curriculum outlined in the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Dr. Prashantkumar Patil, VC, MPKV gave his best wishes for the workshop.

Dr. Sudip Marwaha said that, the VNMKV implemented the AMS by accurately filling out the required information in a short period of time. Because of the system, all educational work will be completed in time, and the entire process from admission upto the completion of the degree will be updated in the system. Students will benefit from this system. The AMS includes curriculum management, student management, faculty management, e-learning and online fee collection.

In his guidance Dr. R.C.Goyal said that through AMS every academic information of the institutes should be available to the students, faculty members and administrator at one click at anywhere and anytime. While Dr. D.N. Gokhale mentioned the efforts taken by the University for AMS.

In technical session, the hands on training given by Dr. R.C.Goyal Mrs. Rajni Gulia and Mrs. Nisha about Academics Management System (AMS), blended learning platform, e-learning etc.

The welcome address delivered by Dr. R.V.Chavan and Dr. G.U.Shinde briefed about the NAHEP project activities at VNMKV, Parbhani. The programme hosted by Dr. Veena Bhalerao and Dr. R.V.Shinde proposed vote of thanks. The program attended by Associate Dean Dr. Syed Ismail, Dr. Jaya Bangale, Dr. B.M. Thombre, Dr. J.E. Jahagirdar, Dr. S.D. Bantewad, Dr. R.D. Ahire, Dr. B.V.Asewar, Dr. K.R.Kamble, Dr. R.B.Kshirsagar, faculty members of the university attended the programme online and offline mode.
