Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Indra Mani inaugurated the Five-Day Krishi Sakhi Training at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Badnapur (Jalna-II), organized in collaboration with ATMA, Jalna on 11th August 2025. The inaugural programme was graced by the presence of Dr. R. D. Ahire, Director of Extension Education, VNMKV; Dr. D. K. Patil, Dean, College of Agriculture, Badnapur; Shri Amol Agwan, Project Director, ATMA; Dr. Dipti Patgaonkar, Programme Coordinator, KVK, CSN-1; and Dr. S. D. Somwanshi, Programme Coordinator, KVK.
A total of 54 Krishi Sakhis are
participating in this training programme, which aims to enhance their knowledge
and skills in agricultural practices, thereby strengthening grassroots
agricultural extension in the region. On this occasion, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor
inaugurated the 15 kW rooftop solar power system installed at KVK, a step
towards promoting renewable energy use and sustainable practices for Green University.
