A memorable & historical moment in the annals of VNMKV, Parbhani .... Hon'ble Dr. Indra Mani
The Hon’ble Dr. Indra Mani, Vice-Chancellor of the VNMKV, Parbhani visited USA during 5th February to 15th February to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with reputed Universities of USA viz., University of Florida (UF), Kansas State University (KSU), University of Nebraska– Lincoln (UNL) and also visited to Washington State University (WSU) under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (ICAR-NAHEP).
On
10th February, 2023, the MoU signing ceremony organized at Kansas
State University. The MoU was signed by Dr. David V. Rosowsky, Vice
President for Research (KSU) and Dr. Indra Mani, VC, VNMKV. The purpose of MoU to establish a mutual
collaboration for research projects of students and faculty, training and
academic teaching participation regarding digital farming.
Both the Dr. Indra Mani and
Dr. David V. Rosowsky briefed about the two premier institutions. In his
speech, Dr. Indra Mani said it is a memorable and historical moment in the
annals of VNMKV, Parbhani. Dr. Indra Mani briefed the present situation of the
Indian agriculture.
Dr. Vara Prasad, Director & University Distinguished Professor
(KSU), Dr. Emest Minton, Dr. Jan Middendorf, Dr. Naza Lilja, Dr. Grant Chapman,
Dr. Raj Khosla, Dr. Kaliramesh Siliveru from KSU were present and other diverse
faculty members from different colleges of the University were present on this
occasion.
The MoU will help in the capacity building of students, faculty in
agri-food system and associated entrepreneurship and also gain international
exposure to better serve the need of agri-food system in India and Maharashtra.
This MoU facilitated to develop mutual beneficial capacity building programs
between KSU and VNMKV.
