Visit of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor to Central Farm

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, accompanied by the Associate Director (Seed), paid a visit to review the progress of the newly developed land in Shendra C Block. The focus of the visit was to assess the efforts in bringing barren and denuded land under cultivation for the upcoming season in 2024. During the visit, discussions were held regarding the ongoing work involving the JCB-120 machine and tractors for ploughing, which aims to maximize the utilization of barren land for seed production programs. The Hon'ble Vice Chancellor expressed satisfaction with the progress made and offered bouquets to the dedicated tractor drivers, JCB machine operators, and mechanics as tokens of encouragement. In a motivational address, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of converting challenges into opportunities to achieve the highest yield targets, ultimately contributing to increased University revenue. He assured financial support from the University administration to facilitate the completion of this challenging task. The Vice Chancellor also issued instructions to invite all University dignitaries to participate in the upcoming "Shivar Pheri," an event showcasing the seed production of rabi crops. The Vice Chancellor congratulated all team members for their hard work and dedication and extended warm wishes for a Happy New Year 2024 to everyone involved in this ambitious university work. The visit and discussions underscored the University's commitment to sustainable farm development and its determination to convert barren lands into productive assets for the benefit of the university and ultimate farmers.
