Seminar Highlights the Crucial Link Between Water and Food Processing for India's Prosperity

On the eve of World Food Day, the College of Food Technology at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV), Parbhani, organized a one-day seminar under the theme "Water is life - Food Processing Prospect for India." The event took place on the 18th, October and featured prominent speakers and dignitaries in the field of food technology and agriculture.

The seminar, which was graced by Dr. Indra Mani, the Vice-Chancellor of VNMKV, Parbhani, as the chairman of the function, brought together leading experts to discuss the critical role of water in food processing and its implications for India's agricultural and economic future. Dr. Indra Mani, Vice-Chancellor, VNMKV, Parbhani, Emphasizes the Vital Role of Water Dr. Indra Mani, in his inaugural address, underscored the paramount importance of water for human life and agriculture. Director of Instruction Dr. U.M. Khodke emphasized that "water is life" and called for responsible water usage to secure a sustainable food supply for India's future.

The event also featured Dr. D.N. Gokhale, Director of Extension Education (DEE), and Dr. Rajesh Kshirsagar, who shared their valuable insights on the subject.
